Waterhouse Peak is about 4 miles west of the junction of the Carson Pass Highway and #89, the road that heads south from Lake Tahoe. Looking south is Scotts Lake and the Carson Range. The lake is warm enough for swimming in July and is much cheaper than a motel shower.
