Desert Creek Peak
Desert Creek Peak is the
northernmost peak in the "Desert Summits"
guidebook. Zdon's advice about selecting a cool day to attempt
the peak is worth following as our August attempt only got us to
the end of the access road. The access road is inaccessible for
vehicles due to fallen timber so add a couple miles to the roundtrip
distance.
