South to Escudilla Mt.
Loco Knoll is about 3 miles
west of the Arizona/New Mexico
border and has a good view of Escudilla Mt. to the south.
"Arizona's Mountains" by Bob & Dotty Martin, unfortunately
out of print, was the guidebook for our Arizona peakbagging.
This telephoto of the north face of Escudilla Mt. does not reveal
any ascent route possibilities. The brown is impassable scrub
brush a deer couldn't get through.
NW to Reagan Reservoir.
NE to Catron county New Mexico.
