Still at Kahiltna, this is the Ranger's tent and Mt. Francis.
The Mt. Hunter ridge. Or was it the Mt Forraker ridge? Anyway, between
Kahiltna and Camp 1 there are plenty of snow flutes, bergschrunds, cornices, and
crevasses to contend with.
Our trip was right on the vernal solstice, from June 20 to July 5.
